SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager with POPM Certification Training Course
Develop the skills required to lead value delivery in a Lean enterprise — and learn the actions, tools, and mechanisms used to manage backlogs and programs — by becoming a SAFe ® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). During this two-day course, participants gain in-depth knowledge about the Agile Release Train (ART), how it delivers value, and how to effectively perform their role.
They will also learn how to apply Lean thinking to creating Epics, splitting them into Features and Stories, planning and executing Iterations, and planning Program Increments. At the end of the course, participants will explore the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture, discover how to effectively integrate into Product Owner and Product Manager roles, and understand what is needed for the continuous improvement of the ART.
To perform the role of a SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager, participants should be able to:
- Apply SAFe in a Lean enterprise
- Connect Lean-Agile principles and values with the roles of PO/PM
- Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management
- Discover continuous value through Program Increment planning
- Execute the Program Increment and deliver continuous value
- Describe the roles of the Product Owner and Product Manager
- Create an action plan for their role

- Experience working in a SAFe environment

Practitioner in Agile Quality (PAQ) certification
21 HoursThe PAQ certification is a three-day, experiential exam preparation course designed to refine practical skills that participants can directly apply in their professional roles.
The examination follows a 'hands-on' format, where candidates are provided with a product backlog release containing user stories, related design documentation, and a 'multi-drop' application intentionally seeded with defects. Participants receive clear instructions on the expectations for the practical assessment and are given the opportunity to produce the required work products. Each assessment includes one or two additional scenario-based questions requiring written responses (up to five questions in total), covering a range of competencies. These written answers are evaluated alongside the product backlog release by an independent assessor. The total assessment duration is 2.5 hours.
